The food is absolutely amazing! It’s Friday and we’ve already dined in 3 times out of the 4 days they’ve been opened this week. The customer service is just as great as the food! We’ve been here a handful of times, and the experience has been great every time!

Ola was our server - full of delight, guiding us through our first west African meal! The meat pies were full of flavor and juicy inside. No sauce needed as Ola promised :) fufu and egusi was fun to eat and tasty, the chicken was perfectly crispy and moist inside. Yummmm. We celebrated my partner’s birthday here and they made it special!! We will be back. Even the pineapple soda was a win! AND I will always need more plantains haha...

This place is so nice. The food is excellent with a nice clean atmosphere. Sara took my order and she is so sweet professional and very attentive. I love Nigerian food I've been eating Nigerian food for over 20 years and to be honest I am going to vote this restaurant to be my number one go to for Nigerian food. My favorite is pounded Yam with Egusi with beef. Check this place out it's authentic as ever.

The atmosphere was calm but the servers need to be more active when guest enter such as walking over to table once seated with menus and sharing drink options and serving not having guest to go and get them for themselves . I also liked that I was allowed to sample a particular soup that I was interested in ordering being it was my first time eating African Cuisine. But other than that, the food was delicious and we left very satisfied and planning to visit again in the near future.

Best egusi and fufu we’ve ever had! my partner and I drove about an hour to come here and we stayed for at least 2 hours. Staff were also beyond friendly and made us feel right at home. Would recommend every time!

My first time eating West African cuisine and I loved it. This tucked away cafe has always piqued my curiosity since I frequent the other restaurants in the plaza, and I'm glad I finally visited. I called in an order of jollof rice and chicken. When I picked it up, the kind cashier asked if the order was for me. I said yes and she asked if I'd eaten West African food before. I admitted I haven't and she then asked who told me about it. I explained and she gave a hearty, warm laugh. She was extremely happy that I'd decided to try the Cafe, hoped I enjoyed the meal and encourage me to come back, which I definitely will. The food was a burst of flavor and although I admit I struggled with the spice, it was well worth it. It's a great portion of food, too! Plenty of jollof rice for one person. I will be returning. Can't wait to try more!

My partner and I drove 40 mins to try West African cuisine after seeing some videos on it and being curious. We were nervous at first, but the owner and associates were warm and welcoming. They let us sample the soups before ordering, and offered advice on the menu. The food was flavorful and the portions were great. Everyone was so nice, it definitely felt like a family environment. Elizabeth, the chef, made sure to check on us and ask about our experience. We are so happy that we decided to make the drive to try out a new cuisine! We definitely will be back to try some new dishes. If you’re considering Hunan Cafe, you should go for it!

We had the snails, fufu and okra soup, jollarice with plaintains and chicken. Superb! The most friendly and helpful wait staff who explained everything and made great recommendations since it was our first time. We WILL BE BACK
